What the Direction Reset Actually Is
I want to tell you what the Direction Reset is not.
It’s not a vision board.
I have nothing against vision boards. They’re pretty. They’re fun to make. But if you’ve ever spent a Sunday afternoon cutting pictures out of magazines and gluing them to a poster board and then propped that poster board against your wall where it slowly collected dust until you took it down six months later, you know what I mean.
Pretty doesn’t move anything.
So what is the Direction Reset? It’s something different. It’s less glamorous and more honest. And it’s the process of sorting through all of it. All the noise, all the should-dos, all the strategies you’ve been trying, and the goals you set in January, and the version of your business you said you were building. You sort through it and figure out what actually belongs and what needs to go.
Not what looks good on a vision board. Not what you think you’re supposed to want. What actually belongs to you, in your real life, right now.
And then it goes one step further.
Instead of asking what you want to have or achieve, you ask who you want to become. You build a picture of the best version of yourself that you can actually see from where you’re standing. Not a fantasy. Not some airbrushed highlight reel of a life that doesn’t look anything like yours. A real, working picture of who you’re becoming and what her ordinary days look like.
That picture becomes your filter.
When a decision comes up, when an opportunity shows up with an early bird price tag and a creator you like, when someone asks you to do something and you don’t know if you should say yes, you ask one question. Would she do this?
And suddenly you have an answer.
I want to tell you what surprised me when I went through this process myself.
I thought I was going to figure out my business. What to sell, where to show up, how to grow. I went in expecting clarity about strategy.
What I got was clarity about what actually mattered.
Time with my family.
That was it. That was the thing that kept coming up, kept rising to the top, kept being more important than anything else when I got honest about what I actually wanted my life to look like.
Not more revenue. Not a bigger audience. And not a course with a thousand students.
Time with my family.
And once I knew that, everything else got easier to decide. Because I had something to measure against. A filter that was actually mine, built from what I actually cared about, not what I thought I was supposed to want.
That’s the Direction Reset. It’s not about doing more or having more or building more. It’s about getting clear enough on who you’re becoming that the noise stops sounding like opportunity and starts sounding like distraction. If you want to try it, the Direction Reset Mini Workshop is $7. It’s short. And it will probably show you something you weren’t expecting.
